Chế độ ăn Địa Trung Hải là một mô hình ăn uống lành mạnh được công nhận trên toàn cầu. Tổng quan mô tả nhằm mục đích đánh giá mối liên hệ giữa sự tuân thủ chế độ ăn Địa Trung Hải của thai phụ và nguy cơ sinh trẻ nhỏ so với tuổi thai. Chúng tôi đã tìm kiếm trên PubMed, Web of Science và Cochrane Library từ khi thành lập đến ngày 01 tháng 01 năm 2025. Tổng cộng có 11 nghiên cứu (3 thử nghiệm đối chứng ngẫu nhiên (RCTs) và 8 nghiên cứu đoàn hệ) đã được đưa vào nghiên cứu.
Kết quả gợi ý rằng sự tuân thủ chế độ ăn Địa Trung Hải trong thai kỳ và nguy cơ thai nhỏ so với tuổi thai thấp. Cần có thêm các RCT chất lượng cao để định những kết quả này, hỗ trợ các khuyến nghị lâm sàng về dinh dưỡng cho bà mẹ.
